Unfortunately Walter, I will not be able to help in your genealogical search. Of our family group (6) that left Pola in1949, when I was 7, I am the only survivor. Through the years of exile, first in Trieste then Australia, my parents never stopped reminiscing about Pola: events, places and above all lost friends, the Cramerstetter amongst those. I vividly remember the playgrounds of those early years of my life: la Rena, Valcane, Stoia, Dante Alighieri (my school), vie Giovia, Gladiatori, Faveria, but of people, except for my young friends of the time, I have little or no memory.

ps: About Klaus: my lifelong nickname, because of my very blond, Germanic hair.
Riboni: my mother’s maiden surname. To avoid internet political threats, that have been plaguing me over the last few years. I am anti fascist/communist, and sort of dislike centrist too. Cursed you’ll say? You’re right!
