Hi people of Culture.
I was so pleased to learn of the 5th Istrian Cultural Day (in New York) and to watch the slide show. It means to me that old Istria is still alive, in spite of the many adversities bedevilling it, like the inexorable march of time and the non participation of the younger generations.
My thanks to the Istrian American Charities and especially to Maria and Louis Santalesa who I believe are the driving force of this event.
I also want to particularly thank the Santalesas for their kindness to Marisa and her mother. Well done!
