I try to find NICOLA RAZOV, he is an artist/ painter.
I have a painting from him and i love it,but i don't know anything about Nicola, except sometimes his name in Google articles.(also one with istrianet, so you are my link to Nicola, i hope).

my parents were originally from Istria, but they quit the company after 2nd world war and went to Germany. I still have a strong relationship to Istria, therefore I am happy to see that there is a huge community of Istrian people here.

hi, my father came to Australia on the Toscana in 1954 he arrived here on June 10th 1954.There are some photos of the ship taken by Guido Villa and i was just wondering (i know its a long shot ) did he know my father on the ship his name was Egidio Russo ,

What a great set of photo's.
I did notice that one photo is the wrong way around for some reason (Venice, page 3, Scuola di San Marco), since I live nearby that square, it is really confusing (and interesting)

Marisa I was looking for a recipe for Bacala the way my mother used to make it and I thought why not go look through istrianet. Your mother's recipe is exactly the same as my mothers was. They shared the same recipe and first name Will think kind thoughts of your mother on the weekend when I make it.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone from Australia. My Dad is from Kanfanar, came to Australia in 1961. I am lucky that he always spoke about his family and took us back to Istra when I was a liitle kid in 1973. I was in Istra in June/July with my wife and three boys. Thanks to my Dad, we know all of our family in Kanfanar, Rovinj, Porec and Rovinsko Selo. What a great site this is. I have just started to explore it. BTW, if any one has any links to Istrian music I would appreciate it. I teach and play guitar and am looking for traditional music. Peace to all, Peter
