Dolmen and Other Architectural Structures Near Beli, Cres (Cherso)

This carving of concentric circles approx. 15 Cm diameter can found at the foot of bedrock of the walls of the village of Beli on the island of Cres, in Croatia. The village dates back 2,000 years. There are other interesting sites in this area in the nearby forest named Tramuntana.

One of two dolmen constructions in the forest of Tramunatana, island of Cres, Croatia.

This is about 1.5 Meter high. The top stone is supported on the right by two huge long free standing rocks with a small balancing stone between. The supporting stone on the left is bedrock.

Another dolmen structure that was only mentioned before in one book published in the 1950's, also in the forest of Tramuntana, on the island of Cres, in Croatia (nearest village is Beli). About one meter high, a perfect flat underside top rock sitting on three other rocks with a small chamber underneath.
