Belltower and Chapel Behind the Church of St. George

Going up the Brdo hill to reach the Church of St. George, there is a clearing where there is a chapel containing a crucifix at full human scale.

Between the chapel and the bell tower of the Church of St. George are two trees - a large oak and a giant elm that is nearly the height of the 35 m. bell tower.

Tra la cappella ed il campanile, frondeggiano un grande rovere ed un enorme olmo, alto quasi quanto il campanile, 35 m.

The isolated sandstone belltower (35 m.) which rises about ten metres higher than the church, was constructed in 1765 by Giorgio Pezulich, as remembered by the inscribed stone above the entrance:

Under the cella campanaria con bifore, delineated by two extended [profilate] cornices, si aprono su ogni lato delle monofore ad arco ribassato. The top has a drum that follows the octagonal plan like the spire that lo sofrasta.]

Sotto la cella campanaria con bifore, deliminata da due cornici profilate, si aprono su ogni lato delle monofore ad arco ribassato. Sulla cima un tamburo a pianta ottagonale come la cuspide che lo sofrasta.
