Krsan finally got ITS county government

Klaudijo Lazaric was elected President of the Asembly

New coalition government consists of members of IDS, SDP, and HSLS, and Klaudijo Lazaric has called for peaceful cooperation of all involved for the good of the local citizens.

KRSAN – By selecting Klaudijo Lazaric (HSLS) for the president of the County government in the third attempt, over two months since the election, they finally formed the government. Klaudijo was elected by 9 members from IDS, SDP, and HSLS, while four opposition members were against and three abstained. The new roster of the County government has 16 members including a Bosnian from the IDS' list. Following the announcement from the oldest member Roko Terkovic (IDS), Klaudijo said that this was a big honor for him, but even more the responsibility towards the citizens of this county, who expect rapid development of their area. He stressed that everybody needs peace and peaceful cooperation to overcome the stressful environment created in the last three mandates, so he asked for constructive cooperation by everybody. He announced next meeting for the following Thursday where will be elected the head and the members of the executive committee so that the county would start functioning properly and made up for the lost time.

As we already wrote, for the head executive will be proposed Valter Kvalic (IDS). Lazaric was also in the past mandate the president of the assembly for the most part as part of the coalition with the current head Vlade Runko, HDZ, and SDP, but he left the coalition in disagreement.

The session started with verification of mandates and swearing in of Silvano Uravic, who replaced a member of the IDS Vladimir Cekada after he left due to disagreement with the coalition. During the work of the assembly, in the name of government, participated Ivan Aleric from Pula.
