<latkovic@ix.netcom.com> Why this is very important: Because the "Law of Compensation(...)" is in full violation with: 1. The Law on Inheritance" and Article 48, which guarantees the protection of property and inheritance rights (!!!) ................................................................................................................. The fact the "Law on Compensation (...)" is denying these rights of inheritance, the Croatian government is putting this Law above the Constitution and above the "Law on inheritance" ........................................................ Please note that the Law on Inheritance of the Republic of Croatia is taken over from the same Law from the Federal Popular Republic of Yugoslavia (FNRJ; afterwards changed to SFRJ), first published in the "Official Gazette" No. 20/55, on May 11, 1955. In the First Paragraph of the Law Booklet, published by Informator (Zagreb, 1995) one can read: " NOTE: - According to Article 48, Paragraph 4 of the Constitution of the
Republic of Croatia, the Right of Inheritance is guaranteed The fact this Law on Inheritance was taken over from the predecessor state (SFRJ), basically unchanged, is a sufficient proof that inheritance has nothing to do with politics, except when it comes in the hands of Tudjman under the "Law on Compensation (...)", where it becomes a political tool which permits to discriminate the citizens, permitting the government to amass and rob more and more. This inheritance issue along with the segregation on the basis of citizenship are two main tools to rob everything which couldn't be robbed in a "normal way"!!!!! Many are unaware about this. This is one of the most blatant example of all violations by the government of the Republic of Croatia, of fundamental human rights as well as of the Croatian Constitution which guarantees those same Human Rights, which Constitution that same government proclaimed.
