| In 1690 Bishop Paolo Naldini divided the
diocese of Capodistria into four deaneries: Pirano, Isola, Covedo and
Carcase. The city of Capodistria, as the bishopric, remained independent. In
1784 the parishes of Muggia, Ospo and Lonche were added and the history of
the deanery of Capodistria begins from that date.
The deanery was reorganized in 1996 and now includes the parishes of: |
Nel 1690 il vescovo Paolo Naldini suddivideva la diocesi capodistriana in
quattro decanati: Pirano, Isola, Covedo e Carcase. La città
di Capodistria, sede vescovile, restava autonoma. Nel 1784 alla parrocchia
di Capodistria vennero aggregate anche quelle di Muggia, Ospo e Lonche ed
e da allora che inizia la storia del Decanato di Capodistria.
