Ivan Milovan Born on September 22, 1940 in the village of Rezanci, parish of Svetvincenat (Sanvincenti), to Antun and Eufemija (née Petrovic) Milovan. Having completed secondary school at the diocesan seminary in Pazin, he began studying theology at the School of Theology in Pazin and transferred to the Catholic Faculty of Theology in 1961, from which he graduated in 1964. He was ordained to the priesthood on July 25, 1964, then received the degree of Master of Science in Theology in 1965. From 1965 to 1967, he was parish vicar in Poreč while also the administrator of the parish of Nova Vas Porecka (1964-1965). Subsequently, he became parish vicar in Rovinj (1965-1967), prefect of the seminary in Pazin (1967-1970), pastoral associate in Rovinj (1970-1981), and parish priest in Rovinj from 1981 until his appointment as bishop. Msgr. Milovan was appointed as the bishop of Poreč-Pula on November 18, 1997. He assumed the duties of diocesan bishop on January 10, 1998. Service in the Croatian Conference of Bishops:
