Cities, Towns and Hamlets

Panoramic view of the town of Cres on the Island of Cres

The island of Cres is the second largest island on the Adriatic. In the town of Osor, at the southern point of the island, the road that traverses the entire length of the island terminates at a drawbridge to the neighboring island of Lošinj. Originally a single island, the channel between these islands was dredged out during Roman times.
